A question about:
NMEA2000 Tank Sensor

I'm replacing a meter. My water tank (2 identical SB & Port) joined with shut off tap between) is "rectangular" but variable in width and depth as it fits the shape of the monohull yacht.
Outside depth at the deep end 300mm but to accommodate a previous depth meter (on tank 1) the top surface of the tank has been indented tapering toward the hole. There fore the inside depth at the hole is 260mm. Question Can I calibrate the standard 250mm unit 24239 to suit?

Hello John, No this is not possible, the sensor measures the level from 0-100% according to its own length. You cannot suggest to the sensor that if it is 250 mm long itself, that it should measure for 300 mm. Otherwise you maybe can play with the shown levels, if the MFD is capable to calibrate/move shown levels, e.g. Sensor empty 0%, shown on levelmeter 25%/liter as reserves, but this is only depending on the possibilities in MFD settings
