Slatted floor dinghies have a PVC base in which wide tuck-in flaps are integrated. Flat, elongated boards or slats are inserted into these straps and give the dinghy stability and good handling characteristics. At the same time they are easy to remove to store and transport the dinghy, which means it can be folded up to save space. Slatted floors are used for smaller inflatable boats up to 2.50 m long and for up to 3 people.
