- For cooling boat engines -
An impeller is an important component for safety. If your impeller is showing signs of wear, it must be replaced. This means that choosing the right impeller is very important, as fitting the wrong impeller can cause costly damage.
Two different versions are available for most impeller pumps: neoprene and nitrile. Neoprene impellers are excellent for engine cooling and for salt or fresh water pumping. Nitrile impellers are extremely oil-resistant in comparison and are intended for use in bilge and bilge pumps.
An impeller should be checked at least once a year to prevent possible damage. We recommend having a suitable spare impeller on board at all times in case of emergency.
To find the right replacement impeller, the following factors are important: Outer diameter, inner diameter, width, impeller hub, pump shaft and material.
Your impeller will vary depending on the pump shaft. We offer the following ten impeller types in OEM quality.
Our boat engine replacement parts are OEM quality. They are NOT original spare parts from the motor manufacturer! All impellers do, however, meet the requirements of respective manufacturers.
