Product details

GLOMEX RA300, a 1.2-meter-long robust and very powerful universal antenna with FME connection. For first equipment, or if you want to replace an antenna including coaxial cable, this antenna is a very good choice. The GLOMEASY technology allows for a very easy and quick installation. Thanks to the extensive available accessories the antenna is adaptable to all motor and sailing boats.
In order to mount the antenna on conventional antenna bases, the adaptor RA358 (SVB Art No. 74432) is required. This reduces the 5/8" thread to a 1"-14UNF thread.

Advantages of this antenna
I chose this antenna because it has a longer thread than the wire antenna. This makes it possible to mount an RA138 rubber grommet in addition to the flat washer, star washer and nut, improving waterproofing and maintaining disassembly for winter storage. The additional seal is the life insurance for the antenna cable, which otherwise soon absorbs water like a wick due to capillary action.
