Product details
The dual rudder blades behind the propeller provide additional steering capacity, which results in optimum manoeuvrability, even with the engine switched off, both ahead or astern. In addition to surprisingly good steering, above all in marinas, locks, narrow waterways and during manoeuvres to get into and out of berths, COURSE-KEEPER's greatly improves directional stability and participates to reducing fuel consumption. At high speed, the two trimplanes automatically lift the blades out of the water, avoiding oversteer and loss of speed.
Available in 4 sizes:
- Type 1 for boats up to 5 m
- Type 2 for boats up to 6.8 m
- Type 3 for boats up to 8,5 m
- Type 4 for boats up to 10 m
No boreholes are required for the installation. Just srew the COURSE-KEEPER on the cavitation panel.
A special version is available for Volvo Penta Z-Drive of series 280/290.
