1A question about:
SILIC ONE Biocide-Free Antifouling

Hi, I recently bought enough silicone to do the drive components of my ribs outdrive and also my shafts and propellors on my own boat. I spent 12 hours preparing all surfaces, priming, tie coating and paining on the fouling. Both boats cruise at 24 to 28knots and after putting 30 hours on my 18 tonne 15m boat at about 20 knots we dived to find no silicone left on the props and rudders.
This is very disappointing as I was using this as a test to do the entire boat hull next year.
Can you think of any reason the product would be this way on my big boat but working well in the rib?
I there just too much pressure on it when applied to a larger boat?
Thanks

I am not shure for the aplication of silic one to the props and the rudders. I have only used it on the hull of the boat and I find it perfect. As long you do not physicali demage the antifuoling it is very good at any speeds I have traveled (up to 36 knots). A friend of mine has had it for three years now and it looks like new.
