This part is meant specifically for seatec inflatables, so it will fit if you have one.

Non-return Valve

Hi,
I have had some (actually a lot) of problems to get the ordinary factory supplied check-valves on electrical WCs to last. They very soon get leaky, resulting in you-know-what flows back into the WC. I use sweet water for flushing, so the course is not corrosion. The check valves from Truedesing look interesting as an replacement alternative. Would they be suitable for such a usage?

I do not recommend this type of check valve for your application. This valve has too many moving parts and any small particle in suspension will cause malfunction to the valve. This type of valve is fine for liquids free of solids which is not your case. Also the nominal diameter of the valve does not correspond to the diameter of the connections ports. Since all the parts are inside of the pipe the nominal area becomes very restricted to the flow. As an example a 3/4” valve do not correspond a 3/4” nominal flow area, is much less.
I recomend in this case the Jabsco check valve item 57156. On SBV the biggest available is D 38mm. Or you can go for a Duckbill check valve.
