A question about:
ARGO FET Battery Isolator / MOSFET / 200A / 3 battery banks

Hi, I have a question related to changing from passive diode battery isolator to ARGOFET 200-3 in my 2007 BV 37CR. I have installed two different ARGOFET 200-3 this week, and i experience with both a 1,3 -1,8V leakage btw input and outputs. When turning off the main switch for the starter battery, it causes Alarm 1,4V for in the Panel 301. I have now changed back to the old passive diode, and everything is just fine.
I know there are other BV owners with the same experience, but they just ignore this alarm.
Hopefully some of you Bavaria guys have a good solution solving this issue ?

Hello Olaf, I don't know how the alarm function of your Bavaria switchboard works. But from a lossless electronic charging distributor I would not expect any leakage voltage between outputs and input. I have already installed similar charging distributors from Mastervolt and Quick in my vehicles and never noticed leakage voltages between outputs and input. SVB has them with 2 or 3 outputs, article numbers #48400#, #48401#, #76504# and #76505#. I experimented a bit with all of them and at the input (without a connected charging source) I could only measure the battery voltage when I applied a positive voltage to the "IG" contact, and that was perfectly ok. Victron material is inexpensive and so far I thought it is good and inexpensive. But it seems to be true that once you buy cheap, you buy twice.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. If I decide to replace my passive diode, I will choose Quick 220A-3.
