1A question about:
Tef-Gel / Corrosion Stopper
Joseph G. asked
on Jun 12, 2019
Good Morning, I was hoping to purchase a tube of Tef-Gel (Item no. 61152) with some other items but have been advised that you do not currently ship it to Ireland. Do you have a similar product that prevents corrosion between stainless steel fixings and aluminium that you do ship to Ireland. If you do can you please advise on what it is?.
Many thanks,
Joeph Gilmartin

Joseph, Tef-Gel is the best product for stopping corrosion between dissimilar metals. It does not dry out like the old Durolac. I have used it for 12 years with the first 6 years running a large aluminium motor yacht. I gather SVB can't supply Tef-Gel to Ireland due to some licencing arrangement. So there must be a distributor in Ireland. I would try to source it locally. It is expensive but a small bit goes a long way.

Lucien, You need to remove the white plastic plug by unscrewing it using a large screwdriver then the fender can be inflated by pushing a nozzle into the whole and using a pump or compressor inflate the fender then refit the white plug. The valve appears to be a flat flap like you would find on a rugby or soccer ball. To deflate the fender remove the white plastic plug and insert a blunt small stick or similar which will open the flap valve and you can deflate the fender by pushing down on it.

44277 please can you tell me the safe working load as may be suitable for off-road winching

The SWL of the 20mm ANTAL round thimble with a 6mm dyneema loop is 1600kg per the Antal.it website. These are not suitable for 4x4 winching if you are using wire cable. If you are using dyneema rope instead of cable they may be OK but the SWL is too low I would think. I would think you should go for a snatch block design with a SWL the same or higher than you winch cable andsuitable fro wire cable if that is what you are using on your winch.
4A question about:
BORKUM Collapsible Aluminum Gangway
Paul R. asked
on Apr 1, 2018
Dimensions, length, width including the hand rail support brackets and the folded depth to the Borkum gangway. Plus the location dimension of the hand rail centre hole from the end. This is required to confirm rail fixings.
Many thanks
Paul

The gangway is supplied with a deck fitting (socket and pin on gangway) not a handrail bracket.

Picture shows two handrail brackets fixed to the side rail. To check whether it fits existing cradle I need width measurement including the handrail brackets and folded dimensions. Thanks
