DHL very bad, delivery not possible to the planned location, because shop closed, OK. But in another one opposite where I live, even though there were others nearby. Unlikely to recommend.
After placing an order, I ordered something again about minutes later because I had forgotten something. Minutes later!! and I actually paid for shipping twice, I don't understand!!!
The shipment took almost 10 days. Now I am on my way to the boat in Greece, have extra costs and may be able to use the parts I ordered in the summer.
Ordered before Easter, paid in advance on the Tuesday after Easter, receipt of payment confirmed, dispatched on Thursday, delivered the following Monday. Extremely annoying.
I always order by phone using catalog order numbers, as I did last time. In recent years, delivery was supposed to be made by invoice/bank transfer, as requested this time too. When nothing had arrived after 3 days, I looked at my emails again and discovered in small print on the pro forma invoice that the delivery would only be made after advance payment!!! As a customer of 20 years, this was shocking to me. As I needed the material urgently, I made the bank transfer online straight away. I then called you in Bremen and asked you to send the goods immediately. Unfortunately, I was told that with svb it takes 3 days for the bank to see the transfer!! Fortunately, it was 1 day quicker and so delivery only took 1 week and all the parts fit.
I ordered a tank cap that was just under 3 cm in diameter. A huge package for 6 euros postage with lots of filling material and the thick SVB catalog! Dear SVB employees, nobody needs that anymore! Many stars deducted for so much waste on my postage costs.
Delivery should be to MartinIque (EU). The transport from Bremen to Frankfurt via DHL took 4 weeks. SVB was never able to communicate the actual status of the delivery. Only the status was read by the transporter and communicated via email. Even the stupidest person should have noticed that a package can't leave four times in a row. Even when I asked, I was always given the wrong status. The disaster then came when the package arrived in Martinique. SVB probably wanted to save a lot of money here and then no longer commissioned DHL, but rather the state postal service. From this point on it's just a long wait. The strange thing about it is that SVB still believed that the package would be delivered by DHL, so I was told. In the future, I will only order items for delivery abroad from places where I can expect competent customer service.
The item arrived 2.5 months after ordering - in the meantime I had even ordered this filter from another supplier at a better price. Delivery time was 2 working days.
When I ordered one of many items was not available. In order to receive a partial delivery I should pay additional money. I don't think that's okay and it's unusual for most online retailers. What worked very well was the debiting of my account even though I didn't receive any goods. It is unclear when the entire delivery will arrive and in general. In the future I will only pay on account and if that is not possible I will change my supplier.

A 10,000 Euro order sent by sea that will arrive over two months late.
In November 2023 I made and paid for a 10,000 Euro order for two items to be shipped by sea to the Maldives. I was told the delivery would take about 4-6 weeks. The order was not loaded onto the ship until a month later, and then the ship was delayed, so the goods will arrive two months late (March sometime) not in time to meet my vessel or be installed as planned in the refit. I still don't have the goods. Liaising with SVB they seemed to think this was more or less normal and out of their hands, so nothing to do with them. At one point SVB gave me an updated delivery date, claiming that this was printed on the Bill of Lading. It was not, and there is actually no evidence this date was ever real. They just passed on the excuses from the freight consolidator they had chosen to use and the fact that the goods are of no use to me stuck in a container at sea is not their concern. While I accept that SVB has limited control over their shipping agents, they are in my view contractually responsible for delivery of the goods as I paid SVB to deliver, and they chose the delivery agents.

The order left our warehouse by ship on 13.12.2023 (PRAGUE EXPRESS, Etd Hamburg: 28.12.2023). The problem is that the ship has changed route. They are no longer using the Suez Canal, but are now travelling down to South Africa, via the Cape of Good Hope and then back north. Sorry, but nobody could have foreseen the situation in the Red Sea.
You can certainly put the small part in an envelope for €2.95 and you don't have to make a package out of it. Went to DHL 3 times because they didn't have anything in order in their shop. Really annoying and lost a few days. But that wasn't because of svb. Part is also quite expensive at €7.95
I ordered on February 16 delivered on February 21 Delivery was scheduled for the 20th with confirmation by email without a time slot. No delivery, no phone call. Nothing Delivered only the next day in the evening. Sorry but there are more correct companies among your competitors
