After 5 years again this cheap combination taken. The material of the old ring had already become very tired due to the UV and seams had burst on the escape light. If you could still stick, but an exchange seems more reasonable. Have hardly found alternatives and the product is not bad. Our 13-year-old original Lifesling proves that things are better, too. So far, it has weathered the UV bombardment quite well.

The product can only be used to a limited extent on sailing boats or can only be attached to the stern of certain types of sailing boats. Angled tube brackets or similar items could be of interest here as accessories.

Horseshoe lifebuoy makes a very stable impression, with a leash running around that can be opened at the front. Unfortunately it doesn't have a zipper for cleaning. Including holder and rescue light (without batteries) a very good price/performance ratio

Ring good, lamp scrap
The lifebuoy with the holder is good. The holder can be easily (only) attached to a pushpit or similar.
The emergency lamp that comes with it is the cheapest piece of junk! When the lamp hangs upside down in the holder, gravity is supposed to push the batteries away from a wire and into a spring. But that often doesn't work. Even when there is a lot of swell there is still contact and the lamp lights up or glows very slightly. This means that after a short time the battery will be empty anyway. Of course bad if you really need it. In addition, water always collected in the lamp.
I would be better off buying a single lifebuoy and a good marker buoy too!

The lifebuoy is relatively inexpensive. But it's also big and a bit unwieldy. The lamp seems pretty pointless to me. In an emergency, it will probably prevent the ring from being ejected. The coating should prevent rapid damage from UV radiation.

The stainless steel bracket is open at the bottom in the attachment and not welded or fixed. Therefore a variable adjustment to the height is impossible or there is a risk of injury. -2 star. The lifebelt has no reflective tape or something similar. -1 star and no signal whistle -1 star. The price for the whole thing is pretty good, however. + 1 star

The lamp has the cheapest version. Compared to the previous models, the base of the 6 V lamp has been saved again. We will convert the lamp ourselves to a 7.5 V LED bulb. As I said, all technology from the day before yesterday and made very cheaply. Not worthy of SVB. AJ

The processing doesn't look like the picture either. Cheapest plastic carabiners, no flat strap with snap lock, no internal strap etc.
