I ordered this seat in July 2019, after a sailor sunk it in the Grevelingen Sea. Was delivered to my desired port within 2 days. During assembly, I found that the seat does not fit without mechanical reworking, the recesses on the sides are 5 to 10 mm too short. With Akkubohrmaschine and three-cornered file, it was made to fit, material can be easily grind. 20 minutes work. I should have ordered the two metal hooks on the sides directly, could have been included in the price. Lucky in misfortune The private liability of the fellow sailor has partially reimbursed the costs after deduction of old against new.
O e corner of the Helmsman seat had a chip in the fibreglass like it had been dropped onto a concrete floor. The slot underneath the seat where it sits onto the support brackets had been cut to different sizes on each side as if somebody had tried to modify it to fit somewhere else.
The freight cost to Australia at 195 Euros seemed fairly excessive, however it did turn up in just over a week from being ordered.

Verified purchasein use on a Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH Bavaria 30 Cruiser
Hello, in August I ordered a fiber and teak stern seat for the Baja 30 Cruiser, the seat arrived poorly packaged and therefore it arrived broken at one corner, I need another unit due to loss of the one purchased in August and the price of €400 in August has risen to €1200 in October...????????????
I would have wished that the seat would be suitable for the price. But no, the seat can not be used. Processing with on-board resources is not possible. In addition, four points must be reworked so that the bank is also in the middle. The teak is rough and needs to be reground. The Teakdeckfugen are partially very sloppy processed.
