The build quality and terminals are good though not top. Its very lightweight. It does the job perfectly well in my case the house battery bank is 2x185Ah. But in my opinion its really not comparable to more expensive and massive chargers like Mastervolt silent type chargers. As the fan makes some noise (switching on more or less irregurarly it seems) I wouldnt consider mounting it to a cabin locker or anywhere near to a bunk.

I made the installation this week-end. Very easy, and it works very good. Quiet and noiseful, on behalf of the installation manual very summary, but when you find it out, no problem. Wait and see...

The must have with the charger when it\'s hidden. Don\'t worry, if you have a temp sensor, the mca-rc1 works properly on the 2nd lan-port.\r\nit\'s not explained in the users manual.
Very good charger. Works very precisely and makes the batteries really full. Got a Sterling with 60A on another yacht. I would even prefer this charger. With capacities of 400Ah maybe even go to the 80A model. But for the normal consumer it is a great device
At about 1,600 AH battery capacity I had a charger with 60 amp on board. Since that was not enough, I bought two of these chargers. Now I realized that the old charger not only brought about 0.3 volts to little voltage, but also needed a lot of power for its own use. Therefore, I have now bought a third Dometic to replace the old charger. The Dometic chargers bring the exact charging voltage of 14.4 volts and have a very high efficiency.
I have now put it into operation in a Dehler 31. Worksheets and starter batteries are now charged separately from each other. Had the old original in use before. The batteries were reactivated by the electronics of the new device. To recommend.
A super charger! Finally one that really gets the batteries full! The fans could be a little quieter! But it may be that I have not set them correctly yet! All in all, very satisfied! The shelf life is not yet to be assessed! Let's hope ....
