Has proven itself in practice on board. Due to the elastic equipment, both lines are relatively short when not under load and do not become a tripping hazard like our previous harnesses. For me the best lifeline so far and definitely worth the money!
Super, aber was sucht ein Fockschotschäkel in einer Lifeline?
A jib sheet shackle that can be released under load in a delivery line, which can also accidentally release, was very unsympathetic to me. I replaced it. Otherwise very nice thing. The via ferrata carabiners are easy and quick to use.
My first experiences with this light and handy Lifeline on a 40ft. Yacht are very positive. The good feel and large opening angle of the carabiners allow for speedy yet safe work on deck. However, the black drawstring on the central steel carabiner did not convince me and so I removed it. It is too close to the large aluminum carabiners and can be mitbetätigt when handling accidentally.
Excellent product for sailing. It is light and it provides two different tether lengths. I appreciate the welded O-ring connecting it with your safety, allowing for a quick release in case of emergency.
Proper workmanship, packing bag is linting, little notes are sewn in everywhere. If you cut the fuss and dispose of the bag, mine has a great picking strap with first-class special carabiners. I have not regretted the purchase!
Very good quality harness lanyard. However, on 2 occasions, I noticed that the quick-release carabiner had opened "by itself", of course at night in the middle of the ocean, front beach when things are moving. Maybe a handling error on my part but since then I no longer have confidence and will order the three point lanyards.
