Although I have not been able to test all the features before the start of the season, there is a lot of progress in the penultimate generation (Simard NSS12), especially for those using Navionics charts. Because the Navionics functions Autorouting, Sonarchart etc. are now not only on the iPad, but also usable plotter. Furthermore direct Wifi connection with weather data from PredictWind. The only drawback I had hoped to make a simple device replacement, but despite nominally same screen size, the dimensions are smaller than its predecessor and the installation remains a wide open slot, which now has to close laboriously. The fixing holes must also be reset - superfluous.
