Significant improvement over the previously used Raymarine GA-150, whose performance was rather modest. During the test run below deck (the hull and deck of our yacht are made of aluminum), the RS-150 antenna was in position within a very short time and it felt otherwise, the performance had significantly improved. The extra expense is definitely justified, even if the antenna is quite expensive. The purchase of an additional GPS antenna had become necessary because the integrated antennas in the newly acquired Axiom plotters are significantly worse than in the previous models.
After 3 days of the expedition, polishing on standby for 10 days in Nantes, 60km from my home on the pretext that the driver did not find the address and did not have my mobile phone number ..... For delivery 0
After my Raymarine plotter stopped working after only 5 years and I had been troubleshooting for 2 days, I called SVB and they told me to download the operating instructions. Are you serious? Finally, the GPS module in the plotter was broken, which the Raymarine support in Hamburg told me after I had a nice employee on the phone after the 2nd call to SVB who referred me to Raymarine HH. So in conclusion, no location is no Ais and the plotter shows no fix is your GPS module broken this can be restored by connecting a GPS Rs150 and feed in via raynet cable if you have nmea. Mfg.Becker
