Finally no more dozens of devices for a few functions. All information available in the Seatalkng network can be easily accessed. You can program umpteen screens yourself and scroll through them so quickly. A real asset to the helm!
The i70s presents itself as a well-made, easy-to-read and intuitive instrument that can display a great deal of data freely programmable. A recommendation !
Installation is easy (there's only one connector). But (!) who - like me - only has very little space (depth) in the housing and who suspects that it can be fixed by buying and installing the associated angle connector (StNg or Nmea2000) ... unfortunately comes home "cheated". The angled connector can only be mounted in the upward direction (!?!?). That should only fit in very few cases and unfortunately it is nowhere to be read ;-( Since I understandably didn't want to mount the device "upside down", the only way out was to somehow choke the "straight" StNg connection cable including the ferrite "in ". A pity.
I also found that in my configuration (factory setting) an AIS display only occurs if the gyro compass also contributes its signal. A logic that does not open up to me even after reading the operating instructions.
essential in addition to the itc-5 module, without which the other i50 i60 displays will no longer be calibrated. Agglomerates the data from the sensors connected to the itc-5
