Maybe the delivery price to Croatia was a little expensive (25 Euro for an EU country) but the time it took to receive the product was impressive. Overall less expensive than to buy it here in a Volvo Penta shop so very happy with your service SVB.

While this is marketed for Yanmar and Volvo sail drives it also fits Twin Disc SP60 sail drives.

The fact that such a spare part is in stock for a 15-year-old Yanmar diesel is pleasing and shows SVB's sensible product planning and selection. Congrats
Great product, I degreased it nicely and then sanded it with sandpaper, With Pattex, coated on both sides and glued in. Sailed 2000 nautical miles and still holds. I am very pleased
For my Volvo D2-55 mounted on a Bavaria it is necessary to slightly cut the extra thickness of the inner lip (about 1.5 cm) because it abuts on the well. The joint must be sanded well before application. For me the problem with these joints is the bonding on the hull. Last year on the advice of SVB I bought a Sika primer (very expensive) plus the putty 292i to stick this joint. The bonding was done in the dry rules and it did not hold. A few miles of navigation and the joint hung miserably on the base !!! Ship and shipyard in France told me that I had to glue the joint with neoprene glue. I tried to glue the joint with this glue but it did not hold. Maybe the joint or the hull had been polluted by sika ?? This year I therefore repositioned the hull white with neoprene glue on the hull and the new seal and waited for the necessary time before applying the seal. The bonding remains partial. Well taken in the center but not on exteriors where the glue seems or - react with the joint. I finished gluing the perimeter with epoxy glue. AMHA is the solution that I should have used directly. Certainly the replacement will require more effort to remove it but at least this glue has the merit of taking on the 2 supports. I therefore recommend an epoxy adhesive to ensure the connection with your bottom of the hull.
Mounts in place of the original flap that had detached and on which remove the old glue is tedious. On my boat it is useful to slightly cut the bead that makes extra thickness. It was like that too about the origin. Indeed the position of the saildrive in the well makes that the hole is a little right on one side (towards the AV of the boat) I mounted this seal after having well stripped the gelcoat, applied on the hull and on the joint a SIKA multiprinter and then Sika 292 i We'll see if it's right in a year.
