great tool

much better than expected!

I found this tool by accident on the web. I then had a brief consultation from the SVB staff and then ordered it. When I unpacked it, it didn't look as if I could do anything with it in the long term. But I was taught a lesson. I use the 3 disc to "grind" my 6.5 Seekreuzer (Bj.64) completely down the various layers of paint and putty since it was in service. Since there is no grinding involved, the tool does not clog and offers the same quality and productivity throughout. Another advantage is that I don't have any fine dust that spreads in the environment and also in my ship. Furthermore, the end result is nice and rough and perfectly prepared to pick up the primer. I work with a very light small drill that I run at 3000 RPM.

It took me some time to mill off my deck with it, but is a real alternative to sandblasting.

Removal of 2k paint on steel before welding. Significantly more pleasant to work than with flexible disks. In my opinion, it does not replace blasting or grinding because the rust stays deep in the pores.

good tool for derusting the steel hull, I needed 2 triple discs to grind the underwater hull of my 7.5m steel cruiser down to the metal, highly recommended, only use with a full mask, because not only the respiratory tract to be filtered but also the facial skin and eyes corrosive residues are very strongly attacked, which are ground down from the tercoo disc

It is really a very good product but ... there is always a but, for 4 to 6 m²h it really must not be too attacked nor too much paint to remove and flat because on a treated steel hull two component epoxy I just manage to make 1m²h and in addition do not have fun. This product is more to use on small surfaces and flat, otherwise it does but must take its time. I had the triple discs (I said 4 to 65 m²h with a single disc, so with the triple 12 to 18 m²h ;-)).

10m x 3, 50m to the metal underwater done in 2 days. Great part.

Don't promise too much. I bought the triple disc and it is very good for working large areas. It's less good on corners and edges, where the drive unit easily slips off track. Then you need the angle grinder with roughing or other discs again. A high-speed drill with at least 3,000 rpm is important for the Telcoo. Be sure to wear safety goggles!

Faced the challenge of getting the paint and putty off a 35 year old steel hull. First attempts with paint stripper worked only moderately, since the paint layer was too thick and the paint stripper is ineffective on spatula. The Tercoo disc worked wonders. However, the service life of the manufacturer is not correct. For a 6 x 2 m hull I needed a triple and a double disc.

Dieses Teil ist einfach der Hammer ! Habe bei meinem Stahlsegelboot das gesamte UW- Schiff damit bis aufs Metall abgezogen. Danach neuer Farbaufbau - bin sehr zufrieden !

Very effective on smooth sheet metal.
On the other hand, not very effective on serrated or hollowed sheet metal.

Very well suited for removing old layers of paint and rust on steel boats, the best tool I know of. Handling the drill with the disc requires experience because of the risk of injury.

Der Preis ist Hammer,aber das Resultat spitze! Schnell Mal eben Qm machen.Ergebnis wie Sandstrahlen. Scheibe ist sehr langlebig wenn man bei Kanten vorsichtig ist.

For the first time I am using the triple disc together with the suction device and the guide rail for renovation work on the boat. Compared to the angle grinder, this is a very big improvement.
The guide rail makes the work a lot easier because it enables the effect to be adjusted precisely and prevents the pane from being pressed too hard. In addition, it absorbs part of the weight and working is more precise, faster and easier than with a free hand.
The effect of the disc is really amazing. It completely removes paint and superficial rust from the hull without apparently directly removing the metal like a grinding disc does. The result looks sandblasted and is an ideal basis for a new color scheme. For larger smooth surfaces I would like to recommend the guide rail, with internally curved surfaces you probably have to work freehand.
If you also use the suction device, there could be difficulties when clamping the pane in the drill (depending on the model). My new Bosch machine has a short compact chuck that is hand tightened without a wrench. As a result, the guide rail and suction device come too close to each other and the mandrel of the disc cannot be inserted deep enough in the chuck. I flexed a small piece at the front of the guide rail and that solved the problem. A revision and adjustment would be necessary here at the factory.

Für Flächige Anwendungen geeignet, bei großen Flächen sollte man aber auf die Multivariante zurück greifen.

Antifouling und Farbe vom Kiel befreit. Einfach genial.\r\nBei grossen Flächen besser 2-fach oder 3-fach, dann\r\nläuft die Arbeit wie von selbst. Habe viele andere Produkte\r\ngetestet, alles sehr Arbeitsintensiv und mit viel Staub verbunden.\r\nDas Teil ist super !!!

Diese Scheiben sind das wirklich Einzige wenn von Stahl einige Schichten Abgetragen werden sollen. Die vom Hersteller Angegebenen qm Zahlen erscheinen allerdings sehr hoch!
