I have only tested it on a short trip. It is louder than I thought it would be. But it unfurled and furled my genoa a good deal faster than I can turn the winch by hand, and of course with very little effort. I don't have the strength and energy I used to have when I was younger, so it is comforting that I don't exhaust myself so much when winching. It will help me extend my sailing days. I think the price of this item is well worth that!

We are very satisfiwd with the Electric winch which now means that you only need one hand to adjust the genua
The designer has incorrectly positioned the point of loading which is on the rail of the support Result rubber shutter rips at each use and I fear that the long it disappears !!!! It would have been wiser to position it elsewhere
I sail a 34-foot boat. For two years I have the Winchrite and I'm pretty happy with it. If you are getting old in the years you are at the mainsail set, reffen, the self-tacking fock already foh on the help that gives the device. After the first season, the transmission gave up its spirit. The service of SVB has sent a replacement in no time, Now the E-crank has worked without ups.
I use the product on a 32ft ship, mast height 12m for the last meter to the top and when arriving for the last 20cm, if it does not work manually and with the existing winches much too tedious. The drive is sufficiently strong for the application. The winches are standing on the boat to the right and left of the companionway so close to the sprayhood that the winch handle strikes. On the port side, the Winchrite is also on the spray hood quickly gercontert on the starboard side for the Reffleinen in the normal position not. The Winchrite is so strong that you have to hold up well here, otherwise they could take one and twist hand or arm and faster than you have the trigger of the trigger. On the side she describes a curve 180 until she would hit the sprayhood. Here you just have to be careful. The Winchrite is doing what it should, driving Winch ..
Tested on the winch dedicated to the full battent mainsail. Excellent impression, also ideal for navigation without the help crew. Fast delivery, with good packaging.
I bought the "ACCU winch crank" mainly for the better mountains from the large in the roll tree of my 39 Fussseglers bought .... the result was impressive already at the first try ..... one-handed Bergen and with the other hand evenly. ... a solid electric winch did not fit. I wish now however a load announcement so that I can take advantage of the reserve for the mountains of the Gross.
I did my \ "test \", it is true that this crank is heavy but when it is in place, it is easier. However it does not release a hand due to the force It is imperative to have both hands on it. At the time I have buddies who thought it made tired sailor will now adopt it for punctual use like me.
