That's how Raymarine is known ;-) If you look at the individual prices of the parts included in the set, then I have to say that this is a very fair price for this recommended set! This rating would be stupid if the individual parts were already overpriced ;-P But if you want to convert networks in order to get up to date with the current state of the art in your boat, you need converters, adapters, geteways, etc. and that has its own Price. Many thanks again to the dear SVB people (especially to Mr. C. Berwolf -)) with their very good, competent, patient, persistent, friendly and courteous advice and neutral product recommendation. I only felt that I was in the best of hands and I can warmly recommend them -) SVB is simply a great company and, as an exile from Bremen, I am completely unbiased ;-)
