Easy to install and to program. Very happy with my choice and would advise any friend for that. It works on my iPad and in all phone aboard. No need to go to chart plotter!
After thinking about it for a long time, I decided to get an AIS tranceiver. Only reception was OK, but I also think it's even safer to send. Here in the East Frisian Wadden Sea, it is certainly not so necessary, but when crossing the German Bight it is a good helper to assess the situation faster and better. Since I have a separate antenna, I can do without the splitter, but I wanted to be able to receive the data wirelessly on my Windows tablet under OpenCPN. Therefore, my choice fell on the comparatively inexpensive Camino with W-LAN. At the same time I was able to get rid of the old Furuno GPS receiver.
Easy to install, it has to find its place behind a multiplexer that powers my navigation computer data. It has a small footprint and finds its place without problems and appears robust in construction. It is a product that gives confidence
easy installation although there is no notice in French

Works well, easy to program but gets overheated in summer
The Camino was easy to install and program and worked fine all spring. When the summer came it stopped sending AIS sentences. At first we contacted SVB to have it replaced under warranty but after we took it out it worked fine again so we started looking for a VHF antenna fault. This took some months and fall came and we enjoyed our transatlantic and Carribean vacations. The unit was working fine. Then spring came and the weather got warmer and the unit stopped sending AIS messages. We understood why. It's getting hot. We put spacers between the bulkhead and the unit and drilled some holes on the wooden panel it was fixed on. This did the trick. But it's frustrating to do this debugging job. It's not the users responsibility.
As long as the device worked, I was satisfied. Arrived in Gibraltar, close to angager in the Atlantic, no more emissions. Check connections, replace gps antenna, reset, nothing. To return.
Has not yet been installed, thus no functional test possible.

Not arriwed NMEA0183 cabla in packidge and I write to You. FOr me this very urgently. Somebody write the cabel send to me and sorry. The cabel not arriwed yet. This is very big problem for me, because dont use without this the AIS.
Use in a sailboat with Navonics Ipad. I liked that WiFi and GPS antenna are included. I didn't like the fact that a PC is required to set it up. The data you entered was unfortunately always forgotten. The associated app for the iPad keeps crashing and does not continue to run in the background. The error indicator also lights up again and again. A splitter is missing - you absolutely need a second antenna.
