I used the Kobra 16kg for my Bavaria 32 (loaded approx. 5t) very intensively for 13 years. All over the Mediterranean. Whether Bora or Meltemi, even with gusts of wind over 50 (fifty) knots, ALWAYS held without slipping. Due to the oversize for my boat, I could lie safely with little chain, 13 was enough up to Bf6. As already several times emerged as test winner in several comparisons, the anchor is also recommended by me almost unrestricted. Advantage over other products with similar performance is the weight, which can be one to two sizes smaller. For me, the cobra as a second anchor for a 14m boat in the back box thus stowed space-saving. Unfortunately, the production quality leaves much to be desired, which, however, has no impact on safety. Rather, it is advisable to wear gloves when handling, since especially the shaft has some very sharp edges. Maybe Plastimo will put on a pair of gloves in the future? Highly recommended product.
