They sell the contact springs for cordage 12 - 16mm. According to the designation on the product, however, they are only intended for cordage from 6 to 12 mm and are therefore unfortunately unsuitable for me. Before I sent them the products back, I called them to ask for clarification. They wanted to call me back or send me an email. None of that happened. I don't call that a service!
This fairly inexpensive variant quickly reached its limits in terms of its resilience. In the last storm, two of the four "eyelets" have already torn. It's a shame - unfortunately it was only two weeks old for me. The mooring lines were not under tension and the berth is on the inland lake. However, in calm conditions and only occasional waves, the article will probably do the trick.
Two of these inexpensive contact springs on the windward mooring lines showed clear cracks after 4-5 months. Guarantee processing without any problems thanks to SVB, but I recommend a higher quality product.
taken the biggest for a boat of 9 meters, there is no indications on it, mounted as shown ... broken after half an hour. the top of 12 has cut the rubber. not recommended except for smaller boats.
