Definitely not a cheap solution, but certainly effective. After throwing money at other DIY systems, extremely satisfied

Everything great!
We bought and installed the tree brake for a customer. The delivery was super fast and the packaging was very professional. The tree brakes work perfectly and allow a small crew to enjoy the most beautiful time of the year even more relaxed. Absolute purchase recommendation from us

Easy installation, but you should run the loose end of the tree brakes over a block with curry clamp near the winch. Then you can tighten the brake firmly on the winches and use the curry clamp. Tightening is important, otherwise the tree is too fast.

Under ideal conditions, the tree brake works very well, eg instead of a bullental. Even necking is neat and controlled, but the brake line must always be clean, already a bit of salt or desert dust blocks the thing.

The WALDER tree brake works great. Unfortunately these came in the original packaging already with a dent on the black anodised side panel. That must come from a blow, because the original and the operating instructions are perforated by the blow. A pity, if a new article already has a damage. The delivery with DHL was inefficient. At the customs in Spain the package remained 5 days. This meant that the package arrived late. In future, we only want UPS deliveries. The handling at the customs etc. is done with UPS without problems and are immediately sped. We know that UPS is more expensive, even Bavaria-Jachts sends all deliveries abroad from experience only by UPS because the state postal service in Spain does not work. Unfortunately, unfortunately. Kind regards W. Häfliger

Montage-Möglichkeiten in schlechter Qualität als auch zuwenige Fotos dabei
I haven't installed this tree brake yet. If someone has the shrouds on the outside, like me, the line has to be pulled over the outer edge of the deck. This creates problems and damages in the gelcoat. In addition, the lines come queer to the side deck, i.e. where you don't want to be tripped over, as tripping hazards. Because the instructions are so bad and do not offer any pictures of different attachment options, I did not install the new Walder tree brake. For example, if I were to attach fastening points to the left and right on the saloon roof, outside, I still don't know whether the deck can withstand these tensile forces. There is no information anywhere! But if you have a deep saloon deck, shrouds that are more on the inner side or, better still, near the mast, then this will certainly work very well. Only external shroud fittings (sailing boats) are much more stable than those that are mounted closer to the mast.
