New pelican hooks for passing through my railing. This time the rope should be made of Dyneema. From open to closed, this pelican hook has approx. 3 cm of lever travel to tighten the railing (not in any description, my measurement is an estimate). If the rope length is preset with a rigging screw, this will hopefully be enough to open the railing by hand and to get sufficient tension again when closing it without making any changes to the rigging screw. Breaking load matches Dyneema rope. (Although I hardly believe that the railing will ever be confronted with such a high load.) I would like to report later (in the autumn?) whether this works the way I think it will. Is the?

The pelican hook makes a high-quality impression, even if it doesn't come close to top brand products in terms of appearance. It does the job, what more could it do?
Yes, I would recommend this product

Optically and technically good. Some of the cheap pelican hooks close with too much play. This one is fine. You can also buy better but then paid 4 times the price.
