Although they have not yet installed - but appears, according to the description, no great act. The idea of the mode of operation (press seal), however, I find genius. The windows themselves are of high quality, also offer a good thermal insulation (double glazing) - however the price is also "awesome" high! This is exaggerated and is probably based on the more or less great absence of alternatives when one has such bullauges and has to replace them. Also, in most cases, only the (press) seal is crumbled, so disks are not really required ....

Mein Altes Bullauge von Pfeifer war als Bullauge im Fensterglas eingebaut
My old Pfeifer Bullauge was installed in my boat as a ventilation in my toilet window, since the old window was defective I wanted to replace this window with the new one but it does not fold the wall thickness is not variable you can not install the Bullauge under 10mm wall thickness. Now I have to see that it is always done pastels. Unfortunately the Wanstärke not with the brochure otherwise I would not have bought it. My old Bullauge was from wall thickness 3mm to 20mm suitable by different additional gaskets.
Unfortunately, the window on the back has a cheap plastic ring which disturbs the overall impression or does not fit the otherwise high-quality window. The part was declined without any problems and the postage included. Top!
Installing the replacement pane for the porthole was not easy. The pivots of the old porthole were made of a very hard material. It was not possible to cut through them with various side cutters. The pivots were therefore exposed by drilling out of the plexi disc. The pivots could then only be driven out of the aluminum frame from the inside with a lot of patience and effort because they were corroded.
