Cheap alternative. In the catalog is missing the note that the lamp can be switched 2-stage (has 2 incandescent filaments with 2 connecting cables ..). Also on "half power" good light output.
Have several of these inexpensive lamps in use. Have you ever noticed that 2 x 55 watts should be included in the description. (see my own comment). So far, only 1 out of 8 lamps burned out after 3 years - and only one of two coils was likely to die from heat death. Here, unfortunately, a serious drawback, the case is made of stainless steel, that's right. But not so the attachment (U-holder and screws). Rusting unstoppable to himself. Can not cost the world to make the attachment stainless steel.
It would be nice if in the catalog or the Internet would stand that the lamp has 3 connections for 2 x 55 watt filament, ie put both black together (and with red cable as the second line) one has 110 watts in this lamp. Ideal for 50% switching. Product has perfect price / performance ratio. At this price there is nothing to complain about. If defective, simply replace.
In sum very good product, the description leaves the following request open. The headlamp can be more than the description, in the plain text: It has 2 glow wires (3 connections) and can thus be switched in 2 stages, in itself ne great thing! Otherwise processing TOP!
Inexpensive, robust, but not always error-free and cleanly processed. \r\nIn particular, the internal wiring is very fragile.\r\nUsed several times. If defective, simply replace.
If you take a closer look at the lamp ring, you will quickly notice that it does not fit, either it is sitting on the housing then the lens is not tight (leaky) or vice versa
incomplete description, disposable product. note. SVB: The light inserts are completely replaced (Seal-Beam insert see item no. 11641 ... Missing description ?? Screw on the lamp, connect plus-minus, turn on the light!
