Smart system and excellent quality.
Have not fitted this add-on, but have all the necessary bits to do so in spring. This is a very good extra hand rail in a spot where we need it.

Sinnvolle Ergänzung
Before our vacation I attached a handrail to our sprayhood with the help of this holder. This made great for the way out of the cockpit, but we should have done it earlier to climb on the jetty. The mounting of the holder was easy to do, they are solid and hold solid on our stainless steel frame.

Gute Verarbeitung
was very easy to assemble, good workmanship please attach more washers, as must be broken down in winter. 2 slices unfortunately fallen into the water during assembly, will reorder 4.

Already on one of my previous boats I had the sprayhood handrail and was thrilled with the function and stability. I wonder why these things are so expensive. After more than ten years on the market, production and distribution should have been optimized long ago.

#1 -There is a tricky thing about assembling all together - once you fix the tube holders how the hell put inside the handrail tube, when the distant between holders is fixed? Surely not the way as explained in the manual\r\n#2 - as stated \"handrail bracket / 25 mm\" is actually a 22 mm handrail bracket mounted on 25 mm support pipe. Now I have to buy additional 22 mm pipe!

22 mm stainless steel handrails are required for a 22 mm spray-top tube. This information was not produced by the 2010 catalog. A manual is missing. Where with the many maggot screws? Does the seal come down or up? The holes I burned with a soldering iron into the folding top. After assembly, the top can not be folded away. Otherwise, the "syringe handrails" are in order.

Abenteuerliche Montage, Madenschraube nicht solide genug
I ordered two handrails for my cockpit tarpaulin to have more safety when exiting the cockpit in rough seas - the handrail itself is very solid and very well made - the two grub screws hardly give any security, it hangs very much on these 2 little screws Solid handle - in my opinion completely disproportionate attachment. It conveys (apparent) security to all those who do not see how the part is ultimately attached. Maybe more for the boat look than something I want to hold on to when the weather is bad in rough seas. - the illustrated instructions describe how to assemble the two handrails. Great. After both have been mounted and tightened according to the instructions, you can no longer get the pipe between the two handrails because - what a surprise - they can no longer be moved because they are tightened. I had 5 jetty neighbors and other friends with me on the boat and let them try it, all of them just as clueless as me. If I then screw the grub screw into the handrail, the thread is such that the fastening ring underneath comes loose. The handrail is currently hanging half-mounted on the tarpaulin in the hope that I will get support from SVB and/or the manufacturer...
