Abenteuerliche Montage, Madenschraube nicht solide genug
I ordered two handrails for my cockpit tarpaulin to have more safety when exiting the cockpit in rough seas - the handrail itself is very solid and very well made - the two grub screws hardly give any security, it hangs very much on these 2 little screws Solid handle - in my opinion completely disproportionate attachment. It conveys (apparent) security to all those who do not see how the part is ultimately attached. Maybe more for the boat look than something I want to hold on to when the weather is bad in rough seas. - the illustrated instructions describe how to assemble the two handrails. Great. After both have been mounted and tightened according to the instructions, you can no longer get the pipe between the two handrails because - what a surprise - they can no longer be moved because they are tightened. I had 5 jetty neighbors and other friends with me on the boat and let them try it, all of them just as clueless as me. If I then screw the grub screw into the handrail, the thread is such that the fastening ring underneath comes loose. The handrail is currently hanging half-mounted on the tarpaulin in the hope that I will get support from SVB and/or the manufacturer...
