Hello dear sail chandlers,

I had recently ordered 2 shroud covers to test which size was the right one for the railing of my CT 49.
Then wanted to order another approx. 30 meters or even up to 60 meters of the material with two railing wires.
Unfortunately, the test was a complete flop because both the 4 mm and the 5 mm version tore when they were pulled over the railing wire (4 mm) and I ended up holding 2 half profiles in my hand!!
Please check whether this is related to the processing because I would not like to come across such unpleasant product defects with another order in the dimensions described.
The protective covers were de facto unusable.
I have always used these shroud protectors in my dinghy sailing days and never had any problems.
