Integrated AIS receiver and DSC
The integrated AIS receiver shows the most important vessel traffic information directly on the display and the AIS target call function allows you to easily set up a DSC individual call.
Outstanding output power and battery capacity
With a transmit power of 6 W, extended communication range is guaranteed. The battery has a capacity of 2400 mAh and provides an operating time of up to 10 hours during normal use. *Typical operation with Tx:Rx_Standby = 5:5:90 (power saving function:EiN)
First-class 1500 mW NF power and noise-canceling
In noisy maritime environments, the high-performance speaker with 1500 mW RF power ensure optimal reproduction with improved acoustic sound clarity . The built-in noise-cancelling electronics digitally eliminate background noise while transmitting as well as receiving.
Includes navigation function
An integrated navigation function guides you to a specified waypoint. Up to 50 destinations can be assigned.
Float’n Flash and MOB Auto Set Functions
The IC-M94DE is IPX7 submersible and floatable. Should it fall in to the water, the radio floats and the display, keys and rear panel distress button flash to help you retrieve it from the water. In addition, the MOB Auto Set Function ensures that an MOB distress signal is transmitted automatically while Float’n Flash is working. Pressing the DISTRESS button immediately starts an emergency MOB alert, rather than the plain undesignated one for better protection of sailors. The position and time of the person (unit) in the water are transmitted accordingly.

I would like to know if there is an accessory for charging this handheld via USB.

No. It is charged on the supplied cradle.

Dear customer, the unit is supplied programmed with DSC, International (INT) and ATIS channel groups. You can program the MMSI and ATIS number yourself. The corresponding procedure can be found in the manual.
