Product details

LED navigation light with LED floodlight. Easy installation at the mast with rack. Approval for sport boats and yachts of up to 20 meters in length. The housing is made of polycarbonate, seawater resistant, non-corrosive, non-magnetic, shock and impact resistant. Supplied with bulb.

Note for electrical installation:
the connections of the masthead light and flood-light (spotlight) are just behind the LEDs of the mastlight. In order to get the LED out you just put a small screwdriver or the blade of a knife between the LED and the housing and carefully pull the LED lamp out. Please be careful while carrying out this operation in order not to damage the housing. See also in the documents section.

Deck spotlight defective after only 5 years

Assembled in August 2017. Failure fall 2022.
I think the seal under the cable gland is the source of the problem. Consists of pressed paper.
At that price I would have expected a much longer lifespan.
Definitely not such a source of error!
When SVB asked, they simply said that they should understand that after 6 years, items can no longer be exchanged. You can only request a repair from the manufacturer at our expense.
I would have liked the process to be more customer-friendly.
NO purchase recommendation for such a high-priced product!

Product expensive, service perfect
I had this model on my mast for 19 years with classic lamps. In strong winds, the deck light was knocked off the mast by the headsail. Since I didn't want to drill new holes in my carbon mast, I ordered this model. The operator on the phone tried to find a data sheet with the drill hole spacing. But there was none. His pragmatic suggestion was to order the lamp, try it and, if it didn't fit, send it back. Since my ship is about 1000km away from where I live, the free return option has been extended.
The holes matched, the lamp sits perfectly. The connections are a bit fiddly to make, I soldered them. The price is steep. But I had no alternative.

The price is already quite high. The assembly on the standing mast is complex, as you have to make a drilling template beforehand. The reason for this is the bending over of the two side tabs. Drilling through the tabs is not possible unless you have a "third" hand to hold. The cable connections could be clearer. The seal of the deck radiator is badly seated. Opening the toplight with a knife is impractical and there is a risk of damage. You have to solve that better at this price.
