ADMIRAL II Tide Clock / quartz / Arabic numerals

I bought the part about 8 years ago. After the winter break, I changed the battery, since then only the second hand of the plastic movement (!!!) moves. The housing is subject to corrosion by any salt spray. By the way, the case is brass, very thin and therefore lousy gilded. The manufacturer (Wempe) does not respond to requests. My enthusiasm for the product and the manufacturer keeps within very narrow limits .....

I bought the Wempe Tidenuhr from SVB some time ago. After only one year, the tide indicator was without function. Wempe has installed a new movement with warranty. It is a super spilleriges plastic drive. Without touching the clock was about 1.5 years again no function. The tide pointer hangs loose. Returned - Warranty expired. Repair on goodwill. The arrived again broken by the transport again. Once again sent in and repaired. After a short time without function. Pointer just lurches around and I've already treated the clock like a raw egg. You have to be afraid of every wave. Then I realized that the clock is not exactly accurate. For a clock over 500 euros. That borders on fraud for me and makes me really angry. The clock hangs in a 10 meter sailboat below deck.
