Product details
A charger that can be used anywhere in the world! The high-quality Centaur battery charger has a three-step charging characteristic as well as universal power input and can charge up to three separate batteries simultaneously.
Robust quality
Temperature sensors ensure that all power carriers operate within the specified range and, if necessary, automatically reduce the output current under extreme conditions. The housing is made of aluminium with an epoxy powder coating and reliably protects against condensation water. The mounting parts are made of stainless steel and withstand the harshest conditions such as humidity, salty air and heat.
Universal power input
Unlike most chargers that have universal power input, the Centaur charger maintains full output power within the following range between 90-265 V AC (50/60 Hz).
Three outputs, each with full output power
Centaur charges up to three separate sets of batteries simultaneously and supplies full power.
Three-step charging characteristic with temperature compensation
Centaur will charge with constant power (bulk) until the charge current has dropped to 70% of the nominal value. This is followed by a fixed four-hour constant voltage phase, followed by a trickle charge phase. The charging voltage is regulated by the internal temperature sensor (-2mV/°C per cell). The optimum charging voltage values for the respective battery types (e.g. wet lead battery, gel battery or AGM battery) can be set with a push-button switch.
