The ultra-compact and floatable LINK-2 VHF handheld radio features DSC, integrated GPS and the based thereon Distress Call function. Floatable and immersible according to JIS-7. The simple and intuitive operation allows you to save and select the most frequently used channels as speed dials (at the touch of a button). There are also individual buttons for channel 16 or MOB. The integrated GPS allows you to store up to 300 waypoints, use the extra-large LCD display as a navigation aid and send your own positions to friends at the touch of a button. The extremely powerful lithium-ion battery lasts up to 8 hours with 5 W transmitter power and active GPS and up to 11 hours with 1 W transmitter power. Transmitter power selectable between 1 and 5 W. NMEA-0183 connection to the charging cradle. Waterproof according to JIS-7.
