The BULLFLEX couplings are specifically designed for even better vibration damping. Thanks to their super elastic rubber shock absorbers (prestressed) and a special centering ring very smooth running is acheived. Even at low engine speeds. The BULLFLEX coupling can compensate for up to 2° misalignment. With a built-in thrust bearing, axial vibrations and shocks are effectively damped and kept away from the drive system. The performance figures are based on DIN A performance per 100 shaft rev / min Available in different versions.
The BULLFLEX coupling type 4 has a 4 inch bolt circle, type 8 has a 4 inch and 5 inch bolt circle. Thus, the BULLFLEX can be mounted directly to most gear types including Hurth, Velvet, TD, ZF and Paragon. These couplings do not work with V drives.

Bullflex type 8 - Load capacity (max. motor power): 5.8 HP per 100 rpm on the shaft

Technical question
Hi, I don't have flexible coupling yet, but hard connection between transmission and shaft. Both are Aligned. I wanna reduce vibration to the boat. Do you think that this could help? And how much? My engine mounts are new, so only way is this thing. Is it worthwhile for the price? Thanks for advices
