Product details

The wired USB-GPS-receiver MG-220 has a sensitive MTK chipset. Receives GPS signals even when the receiver has no direct view to the GPS satellites. The 99 parallel channel receiver allows an excellent reception. Can be used with: Windows XP / Vista / 7, 8 and 10 (32/64 bit).

The small and compact housing is IPX7 waterproof. The underside is non-slip and has a magnet, so the receiver is also well suited for outdoor use.

First of all, you need to find on the CD a pdf (in German and in English) detailing the installation protocol (no autorun = it's up to you!) installation taken up to 5 times before appearing the device in the manager (and sometimes with the computer reboot request and sometimes not!) and with Windows update getting involved looking for an updated driver! then you have to continue to explore the CD to discover that you have to run (manually) a test program! after all this work: no satellite detection! the test program runs without result.
