STERLING PRO BATT ULTRA Battery-to-Battery Charger / integr. MPPT solar regulator/ 12 V to 12 V / 30 A

This STERLING battery-to-battery charger enables faster, optimised and temperature-compensated charging of a further battery (e.g. for a bow thruster, windlass or 2nd consumer battery). Primary and secondary batteries can be of different types, as the 4-stage IU characteristic of the unit can be optimally adjusted to the connected battery type (AGM, lead acid, GEL, LiFePO4, etc.). The B2B ensures that the primary battery (e.g. the starter battery) is not discharged unintentionally. It can also compensate for the voltage losses that are caused by long cable routing. When charging LiFePO4 batteries, it limits the charging current and protects the alternator from overload. The integrated MPPT solar regulator charges the battery when the engine/ignition is switched off. (The B2B and the integrated MPPT charge regulator do not work simultaneously.) The MPPT charge regulator processes up to 350 W of solar power. The open-circuit voltage (VOC) of the solar module must not exceed 31 V. A further advantage is the quick and easy installation, as no complex wiring is required.
