Product details

This digital battery tester not only measures the voltage, but can also perform a load test to check that the battery is working properly. The battery is subjected to a very high load of up to 125 A for 10 seconds. This test provides information on whether the battery is still functional. The device can also be used to determine the performance of the charging device.

NOTE! Only carry out the load test when your battery is fully charged, otherwise the battery may be incorrectly declared to be defective.

Youre suppose to fully charge the battery before using the tester. And the tester wont work if the battery has more than 13V. Which most batteries will have after being fully changed. If the manufacturer had set the tester cut of at 14V it would would be
Isolate the battery and make sure its fully charged then test it. When connecting the tester it will read the volts of the battery. If the volts are greater then 13 the tester will not work! You have to wait tell the battery voltage drops to 13V or less!
