The press coffee maker designed by Erik Magnussen brews up to 8 cups og coffee. Its double walls and simple open/close function keeps the coffee hot for a long time. To serve, grasp the knob and turn the lid open; close by turning the lid back. Capacity: 1 liter.
Step 1: Use the measuring spoon to fill the unit with coffee.
Step 2: Pour in hot water (make sure the water is no longer boiling).
Step 3: Put on the lid (do not push down at this point) and allow to brew for 4 minutes.
Step 4: Push the lid down slowly.
Step 5: Remove the lid in order to serve the coffee.
Step 6: Enjoy your freshly brewed coffee!

Erik Magnussen was born in 1940 in Copenhagen. Educated as a ceramist at the School of Applied Arts and Design - graduated with a silver medal in 1960. In 1997 Erik Magnussen was awarded "The Red Dot" in the "Design Innovations 1997" competition held by Design Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen and he won the "Good Design Gold Prize" awarded by Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization.
