Product details

In addition to the standard marine radio channels, the Standard Horizon HX400E LMR VHF marine transceiver has six programmable LMR (Land Mobile Radio) channels. It includes a noise-cancelling microphone and a voice scrambler for private communications. With dual watch technology and transmit power levels of 5, 2, 1 or 0.5 watts. The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 2400 mAh and can be fully charged in only 3 hours. The large LCD display and alphanumeric channel labels ensure simple operation. A preset key gives you direct access to 10 channels. The rugged housing is waterproof to IPX8 standards (1.5 m for 30 minutes). A CAT460 antenna, FNB-115LI Lithium Battery Pack, charging cradle, rapid charger, belt clip and user manual are included.

Programming notes

The unit is supplied programmed with the International (INT) channel group. Switching to inland channel group (ATIS) is not possible.
Should you nevertheless wish to switch to "ATIS", please note the following:

This handheld radio can be programmed with your personal ATIS number.
Programming of the ATIS number must be done by us.This service is of course free of charge.

Please enter your ATIS number in the 'comment' field while ordering or fill out our data sheet programming VHF radios and send it to datenblatt@svb.de.

If additional channels (e.g. Dutch channels 30, 31 and 37) are to be activated, we charge our programming fee.

CAUTION: The use of handheld radios in inshore waters is restricted. Please observe the regulations for inshore radio communication.
