Wind generators derive a significant part of their efficiency from their rotor blades. This, along with the design of the generator is what makes them more, or less efficient. The blades are important for ensuring efficient power but also play a key role in ensuring its safety. The rotor blades of the Spreco Shark S-401 wind generator have undergone further aerodynamic optimisation. They are handmade from Carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) by highly qualified specialists from a German company and guarantee extreme strength even in turbulent wind conditions. They cannot be destroyed due to powerful winds. The rotor blades are painted in two or three colours to improve visibility for people and animals. They are permanently UV-resistant and stand up well to environmental influences.The tapered rotor blade base centres the blades automatically during assembly, so that they are optimally aligned. This ensures extremely quiet and vibration-free running.

Hybrid charge regulator
The powerful Boost MPPT charge regulator is a combined wind and solar regulator with built-in micro-controller that starts charging even at low wind speeds. All operating parameters can be easily viewed on an LCD display. The charge controller is suitable for various battery types including lead acid, gel, AGM and lithium batteries.Each charge regulator is specifically tailored to the wind generator supplied.
Installation
Thanks to the low weight of around 7 kg and rotor diameter of 1.15 metres, installation of the Spreco SilentShark S-401 wind generator can be carried out quickly and easily by anyone with a certain degree of skill. When you purchase you will receive a complete system that is ready for immediate use and includes a modern MPPT boost hybrid charge regulator. It is advisable to plan your system carefully in advance and remember to check the required optional cables and their cross-sections. The newly developed blade hub design ensures easy assembly and automatic self-centring of the rotor blades.Easily self install your Spreco SilentShark wind generator at various locations and set up a self-sufficient power supply at jetties, on the water or on land.
