Product details

The TP 10 tiller pilots are storm-proof! Exceptionally powerful and extremely reliable, this tiller pilot ensures easy and comfortable steering with minimal power consumption and very silent operation. The incredibly fast rudder movement shows how powerful this autopilot really is. Thrust rod and electronics are completely sealed. These tiller pilots have successfully completed a 24 hours operation test under water. The test shows that SIMRAD's tiller pilots work reliably and smoothly even in harsh conditions. Power supply: 12 V. The housing includes an internal fluxgate compass requiring installation at least 1 m away from magnetic interference.

Please note: The Simrad TP10 is supplied with open cable ends (2-pole). We recommend our item 81242 as bulkhead connection socket.

User friendly

A simple choice of controls allows uncomplicated selection of the adjustments you require.

Precision control

Outstanding performance in a variety of scenarios, even extreme weather ensures that the pilot is effective in typical coastal sailing conditions.

Battery optimisation

Low power consumption ensures that your battery will last longer, even if you use the autopilot for long periods of time.

Silent Sailing

The pilot's TP program is designed for minimal noise. The autopilots are extremely quiet so you can enjoy the peaceful feeling of being out on the water.

Waterproof

A waterproof seal protects the pilot from the elements

Hi, sorry but the plug and socket has been changed with the TP22 and TP32 since they have a SimNet connection (NMEA2000). The plug with cabling and SimNet socket is called SKT22. In case you plan to go for new TP22/32 it will come with the product.

Flag of English What means the numbers in the table "TP10/22/32 Tillerpilot response control" given in the respective product User Guide? Like 0.3 0.4 0.5.... etc
Answer:

Denis S. answered
on Jun 9, 2020
These values are degrees. Depending on setting of response control from 1 to 9. And depending on setting seastate "ON" or "OFF". So for response level 3 you will have Rudder gain 0,4 and Counter rudder 2,4 in low speed (HI parameters). The value 0,4 is like Rudder gain. 1 deg off heading will give 0,4 deg rudder. Dead band in sea state is how many deg. The boat will be allowed to move before the autopilot make an action. Specially in bad weather we do not want the autopilot to use the rudder as much as in nice calm whether.
