Technical question

Answers:
I have same issue and have been unable to find where to buy the end plug. I wrote SVB an email and plan on calling Monday.
Same issue her, completely stuck on the gas cilinder. Did anyone find where you can buy this Selden part 319-586 ?
The same. However I put quite some effort to get it apart. Cut away the corroded cylinder, drill the small diameter hole in the centre, use rigid bench drilling machine to make hole as cantered as possible. Gradually increase diameter of the hole. When hole diameter is close to the inner dimension of the tap, use some small file tool manually. Scrap out the remains of metal with a small screwdriver and a hammer. Finally, use tap-tool to renew the thread. May take an hour or two.

Hi, it depends on the rodkicker you have. 42215 is for rodkicker type 20 (min. length 1.72 m / to 1.4 m rod) and type 42217 is for rodkicker type 30 (min. length 2,20 m / to 1,8 m rod).
Hi. Gas spring for my rod kicker of type 10 was 1200N and the part number was 42214.

General question

Answers:
All of these 3 items are included.
Yes it does - but you will need 2 end caps, don’t discard the old ends as you need to use one..
The kit would be better if it included 2 ends....
Also use some duralac paste or similar when screwing on the cap ends..
Thanks Denis, your feedback is much appreciated . In respect to the end caps you mention , not sure what you mean on this one . Just to put you in the picture on this one , I purchased a brand new Rodkicker model 20 last week from SVB but never ordered the Gas Strut option, now I have decided that was a bad move and will fit this option . Thanks Gordon
The cap ends screw onto both ends of the gas strut - so you end up with the strut with a flat ‘plate’ on both ends.. One will go against the spacer ( comes in the kit ) and the other end goes against the Alu sleeve - So you need 2 end caps ... I had allot of difficulty with my rodkicker selection and I found the guy in svb excellent - maybe call them ? Or try to pm me - not sure how !
Thanks you very much Denis, your help is much appreciated. I have already ordered the Gas Kit so once it arrives im sure I'll be able to source something .
Thanks Gordon
