The Reactor 40 hydraulic autopilot system is ideal for powerboats and sailboats and can be connected to a variety of propulsion systems, such as inboards, outboards, stern drives and diesels.
Delivery includes 4" GHC20 control unit, 2.0 L hydraulic pump, electronic control unit (ECU), control course sensor (CCU), buzzer/alarm unit and innovative Shadow Drive technology.

Including 2.0 L hydraulic pump
The Garmin Autopilot Pump Kit has a hydraulic pump that steers the boat by interacting with the hydraulic steering system based on commands from the autopilot system. Suitable for hydraulic cylinders with a volume between 163 - 393 cm³.

Responsive, flexible and reliable
The solid-state 9-axis AHRS (Attitude Heading Reference System) responds reliably to sea conditions to maintain course. In addition, the autopilot system offers particularly helpful features, including heading hold, wind hold, tack/jibe, step turns and more. It also greatly minimises heading error, course deviation, rudder movement and power consumption, giving you enough time to operate sails, lines, winches or radios. The system mounts nearly anywhere, in any orientation.

Chartplotter compatibility
Combined with a compatible chartplotter, the Reactor 40 can be controlled and steered anywhere on the boat. In addition to holding its course in virtually all weather and wind conditions, the system can smoothly perform a variety of preprogrammed trolling and search procedures. Plus, with a compatible Garmin networked chartplotter and optional BlueChart g3 Vision charts (sold separately), you gain additional functions, such as Auto Guidance with automatic route suggestions.

Stay in control with Shadow Drive technology
Shadow Drive gives you the option to take the wheel at any time with Autopilot activated. The autopilot is automatically disengaged if the helm is turned and re-engages when you hold a steady course.

The pump was delivered defective! 2 blind plugs were overcut and broken off.
I wanted to mount a new autopilot system on my Reinke S11.
Unfortunately, the pump system part was delivered defective.
To date, SVB has not responded to either of my emails. Not even after 4 weeks. I received a confirmation of the emails on the phone. I was not told how to proceed. I then just sent the pump back. I didn't get any answers about this either, despite further emails from me.
After 5 weeks, to my surprise, the postman brought a new pump. To this day, 9 weeks after purchase, I still have not received an answer to my questions or message. It's really a shame that I'm being ignored as a customer. I will have to order elsewhere in the future.

Flag of English Hi, I live in Brazil and would like to buy a hydraulic autopilot system from Garmin for my sailboat. I was going to buy it to be delivered to a friend's house in Lisbon, Portugal. First I would like to confirm the availability in stock and the delivery time to Lisbon, as he travels to Brazil on the 16th of April. I would also like to understand how the purchase would work in relation to fees and taxes for this shipment to Portugal. Thank you for your attention
