Product details

HyperVision combines the highest frequencies (1.2 MHz) with outstanding CHIRP technologies, setting a new level of precision!

The HV-300TH thru-hull transducer from Raymarine sends crystal clear images to your Element series display. The easy-to-install and compact transducer reaches a depth of up to 30 meters with the best possible resolution. Change to the standard 350 kHz frequency to reach a range of up to 180 meters. Single transducers with 0° dead rise are suitable for hulls without keel. A double transducer set is normally required for V hulls.

Flag of English Can you use element hv 12 with the HV-300TH transducer mounted forward of the keel where my old depth transducer is, on a sailing yacht and it works ok?

Hello Philip, below the product details you can see an english manual for the transducer. On page 22 of the manual is standing that the transducer has to be mount in front or behind the keel. Water swirls can disturb the function. So it is possible to mount the sensor in front of the keel. But please read the manual in relation to the assembly.
