Product details

The EV 100 tiller pilot is a perfect autopilot for tiller-operated yachts up to 6t displacement. Ideal boat length up to 11 m.

The new Raymarine EV-100 autopilot ensures easy self-control of your boat, difficult calibration is no longer necessary. Due to the intelligent EV-sensor, the autopilot monitors multiple ship movements in all directions and automatically adjusts the steering to match existing sea conditions, without the user having to adjust any other settings. A further big advantage of the autopilot is flexibility of installation. The device itself can be installed where it is easiest for you to access, while the EV-sensor can be mounted where it makes most sense to you, no matter if above or below deck. The sensor core is protected against water ingress to IPx6 and IPx7 standards. The various components are easily connected to each other via SeaTalk (NMEA2000), and all cables required are included.

Hi, it can also be used in Sailboats? What’s the difference between that model and the other tiller pilot sold without the drive unit?

This autopilot is intended for sailboats with tiller steering. This EV100 offers the possibility to mount the sensitive compass in a place where the compass can work at its best. The autopilots of the ST1000+/2000+ series contain everything (incl. compass) in one housing, which means that the mounting position is fixed. In addition to the possibility of decentralised mounting, the compass/gyro sensor included in the EV100 package is also much more accurate as it recognises all the ship's axes of motion and incorporates them into its calculations. A compass-only autopilot does not have this possibility.

This is an excellent autopilot for tiller controlled sailboats!
I am very happy with this new pilot, it performs a lot better compared to my old Raymarine ST2000. Excellent. precise steering in strong wind and waves as well. I have been using this equipment for a few months now and have nothing negative to say about it.

Très bien
Acheté pour remplacer un pilote de 15 ans Raymarine 4000 non réparable pour un voilier de 10,3m déplacement 5,4 T. Fonctionne très bien dans un réseau hybride Seatalk-Seatalk NG. Réagit bien à la houle en navigation au prèsbon plein. Dommage que le kit ne comporte que le câble réseau de 5 mètres. J'ai été obligé de racheter un câble de 9 mètres pour mettre le capteur EV1 à l'emplacement de l'ancien compas fluxgate (dans coffre à l'avant du carré).

Pinnenpilot EV-100
Ich habe dieses Set in Feb. 2019 gekauft und den langen Winter genützt um es in meinem Trimaran Corsair Dash2 Bj 2016 ein zu bauen Alles was man so benötigt wird in einem großen Karton schön verpackt geliefert, echt Klasse! Zuerst sollte man alles sehr gut ansehen und durchlesen, dann entscheiden wo die einzelnen Komponenten montiert werden sollen und wo die Verkabelung laufen soll Ohne dieses kleine Vorstudium wird das Ganze eher nichts Ich musste z.B. einen zusätzliches Panel mit Sicherungsautomaten anschaffen und installieren Nach abgeschlossenen (aufwendige) Installation war die Inbetriebnahme mittels eine 4-Seitige Beschreibung (nur Englisch) doch echt Einfach Das Menu der P70S ist sehr Überschaubar und sympatisch gemacht, einfach entsprechend der Kurzbeschreibung durchklicken und Fertig Anschließend aufs Wasser zügig mit 4Kts einen 360 Kreis drehen, Deviation eingeben und nicht vergessen KOMPASS-SPERRE EIN eingeben Der Tri läuft am Wind kerzengerade durch die See mit 70cm Wellengang.....Super!! Ebenso unter 55m2 Ginaker Raumwind, Wellen von schräg Hinten......sehr Gut!! Klar...diese AP kostet das 3-Fache zu z.B. den ST1000 oder Simrad TP10, aber diesen AP kann die Steuerung sogar am Wind bei Bft5 für längere Zeit übernehmen Bei Winddreher nur schnell 10 oder -20 eingeben Die Arbeitsweise ist eigentlich immer angenehm Leise (kein Sägewerk) Negative Eigenschaften habe ich den letzten 2 Wochen noch nicht finden können Fazit Absolute Kaufempfehlung für Einhandsegler die schnelle bzw. nervöse Boote segeln

Kit EV1
Excellents produits. Connection seatalk ng facile à installer. Dommage que la longueur des câbles fournis (branche et dorsale) ne soient pas optionnelle, il faut donc acheter d'autres câbles si la configuration de l'installation le nécessite. Idem pour le montage du vérin, les accessoires sont très coûteux chez raymarine. Il vaut donc mieux être bon bricoleur. Toutefois, une fois monté, paramétré et étalonné, le système est performant.
