Product details

With the new Autopilot EVOLUTION from Raymarine, steering your boat becomes easier than before. Difficult calibration is no longer necessary. Due to the intelligent EV-sensor, the autopilot monitors multiple ship movements in all directions and automatically adjusts the steering to match existing sea conditions, without the user having to adjust any other settings. Safe arrival at the planned destination is guaranteed. A further big advantage of the autopilot is flexibility of installation. The device itself can be installed where it is easiest for you to access, while the EV-sensor can be mounted where it makes most sense to you, no matter if above or below deck. There are no restrictions concerning the installation compared to common heading sensors. The core of the sensor is water-protected to IPx6 and IPx7. You can connect the different components very easily via SeaTalk. The required cables and rudder reference unit are included. Furthermore, the autopilot is NMEA2000 compatible.
This set includes the EV-1 sensor, ACU-200 drive control unit, p70s control unit (ideal for sailboats), a type 1 mechanical linear drive, S100 remote control and the Evolution cable set.

Sensor EV-1

The EV-1 is designed for Evolution mechanical and hydraulic autopilot systems. The SeaTalkng network enables a single cable connection for power and data to the Evolution ACU (actuator control unit) and extended SeaTalkng and NMEA2000 networks.

ACU-200 Drive Control Unit

The robust ACU-200 provides reliable power for the drive of the autopilot and can provide the SeaTalkng bus with power. The ACU-200 can steer drives of type 1. With rudder reference transducer.

p70s Control Unit

The p70s control unit is operated via function keys and was specially developed for sailing yachts. The sophisticated LED backlight delivers brilliant colours and contrasts with low power consumption. The large horizontal and vertical viewing angle enables reading from almost any viewing direction. The p70s uses the LightHouse user interface.

Mechanical linear drive type 1 (12 V)

The mechanical linear drive type 1 by Raymarine offers:
  • enormous thrust, short hard/hard-helm changing times and quiet operation
  • low resistance,to minimise the influence on the steering, when autopilot is on standby
  • a powerful electro engine that steers a planetary transmission with a fail-safe clutch over a strong belt drive
  • high performance at low power consumption

Remote Control S100

With this compact S100 remote control you can operate all Raymarine SeaTalk autopilots on board, even if you are below deck and the autopilot is out of sight. Operation is simple and the intuitive menu structure allows easy access to all major functions. The S100 is powered by two AAA alkaline batteries: Radio-controlled remote control for autopilots. Plug & Play: easy to install in just a few minutes. The latest and most reliable wireless technology (IEEE 802.15.4). The S100 is compatible with all Raymarine SeaTalk autopilots (except the SportPilot and SportPilot Plus). Delivery contents: S100 remote control and base station, SeaTalk connection with 3-way terminal, 2 brackets for mounting, carrying strap, AAA batteries.

Network features: Range away from base station: up to 10 m. Beeps as soon as the remote control signal to the base station is lost (the autopilot then automatically switches to standby mode). Pre-registration: Each remote control is already registered to the base station during the manufacturing process. Add additional base stations for even more coverage. Add handsets for additional users (each can be set individually).

Display features: 2 lines of text. Dot matrix with very good contrast (127 x 24 pixels). Graphical display of the selected autopilot mode. Raised profile on the standby button for easy usage at night.

Note: An optional SeaTalk1 to SeaTalk NG converter and adapter cable (both components contained in the converter kit) are required in order to use this remote control in the SeaTalk NG Network.

Evolution cable set:

  • 1 x SeaTalkng Power Cable
  • 1 x SeaTalkNG backbone cable (5 m)
  • 1 x SeaTalkng drop cable (0.4 m)
  • 1x SeaTalkng 5-way-distributor
  • 2x SeaTalkng T-piece
  • 2x SeaTalkng Terminator
