Does what he promises
We wanted to transfer a boat from Sweden to Germany. Since the boat did not have a compass, we used the small Plastimo as a makeshift. He brought us safely to our destination. The compass was easy to read even at night.

Gute Qualität von Plastimo
Due to its relatively small diameter, the compass has markings of only 5 degrees. That's enough for navigation. For direction finding I would still use the Iris 50, which is much more accurate here. In addition, the lighting (orange) is relatively dark. At night, however, it is still easy to read about 1m from the helm. It is positive that the lighting is supplied with standard AAA cells. (Light duration 50h) Unfortunately, the iris does not fluoresce in the battery-operated model, but a steering compass should be electrically illuminated anyway. Otherwise top quality, the inertia is perfect for the ship and the compass is very flexible when installing. He even swims and is very light.
